Special Rules -- The Terrestrial Exalted

Elemental Harmony: Dragon-Blooded General Charms are automatically learned when their prerequisites are met and do not consume the character's starting Charm slots.
Fifth Element: Dragon-Blooded do not pay a surcharge for out-of-Aspect Charms.

23/04/12 - Removed a rule that allowed essence discounts. Typically, the removal of the surcharge should be enough. Removed Ox-Body Technique. It was added to Resistance as [Element]-Body Bulwark. Changed [Terrestrial] Essence Overwhelming to [Dragon's] Essence Overwhelming, this was done to differentiate it from the Solar version.

This Charm is the basic Dragon-Blooded die-adder. A character may add dice to an Ability-based roll, so long as the relevant Ability is rated higher then 0. She may add no more dice then her [Ability] + [Relevant Specialty]. [Dragon's] Essence Overwhelming may not be used to create an action for the character. For which rolls are valid targets, see below.

Mela is the dragon of Air. Her sacred Abilities are Linguistics, Lore, Occult, Stealth, and Thrown. Additionally, this Charm can enhance any roll that resonates with a character's Motivation, regardless of what Ability it is based on.

Pasiap is the dragon of Earth. His sacred Abilities are Awareness, Craft, Integrity, Resistance, and War. Additionally, this Charm can enhance any roll on which the character channels Conviction, regardless of what Ability it is based on.

Hesiesh is the dragon of Fire. His sacred Abilities are Athletics, Dodge, Melee, Presence, and Socialize. Additionally, this Charm can enhance any roll valid for Valor channels, regardless of what Ability it is based on.

Daana'd is the dragon of Water. Her sacred Abilities are Brawl, Bureaucracy, Investigation, Larceny, and Sail. Additionally, this Charm can enhance any roll valid for Temperance channels, regardless of what Ability it is based on.

Sextes Jylis is the dragon of Wood. His sacred Abilities are Archery, Medicine, Performance, Ride, and Survival. Additionally, this Charm can enhance any roll valid for Compassion channels, regardless of what Ability it is based on.

With this Charm, a Dragon-Blooded can enhance the abilities of her allies. She must spend one mote for every ally to be augmented and one mote for every two dice added to each person's rating in relevant Abilities. The Charm has two limitations. First, no ally's Ability ratings can be raised above the Ability ratings of the Exalt who invokes this Charm. Second, no ally's Ability ratings can be increased to more than twice its normal rating. Therefore, the ally must have at least one dot in the Ability for this Charm to affect him at all. All allies to be affected must hold hands at the time of the Charm's activation.

If the character has Essence 4+, she can target a Dragon-Blooded leading a unit and spend additional motes equal to that unit's Magnitude to simultaneously apply this charm to every character in the unit.
